Corporate Philosophy

Our corporate philosophy is the company's reason for being — more important than the decisions of founders or elders.
It is, in a sense, Kinobo's "constitution." Even someone who has just arrived at Kinobo should push back if they believe something goes against it.

The Origin of Our Name —
"the stick" and tree-climbing.

As children, the unknown filled us with both curiosity and fear. A place we had never seen — it might be dangerous, we might get scolded. And yet, once we looked around and found just the right stick, the doubt in our hearts all but vanished, and we felt we could go anywhere. It was as if an adventure straight out of a movie or a novel had begun.

A stick is not only a weapon for when it counts. It is a shield to protect us, a brush to draw with, the timber of a secret hideout, firewood to spark a flame, a marker where friends gather — and perhaps even a wand that casts magic. The stick expanded our possibilities.

Now grown, having outgrown the children we once were, we still grip a stick and keep on rising to the challenge. The excitement of the unknown — we keep climbing toward it, ever higher.

Our philosophy is a single, unwavering axis

In any environment, people can adapt all too readily to the changes around them, and lose their "axis" to prejudice and compromise that go by the name of common sense. In such moments, philosophy points the way as an unwavering axis of judgment. Kinobo defines its corporate philosophy by breaking it down into the form of MVV (Mission, Vision, Value).

Kinobo builds mechanisms that resolve the "frustrations" draining people's disposable time and disposable income, and crafts playthings that take the small sparks of excitement still tucked away in forgotten corners and make them bigger. That is our strategy for "expanding the realm of human possibility."

With our corporate philosophy at the apex, it is a "diamond-shaped organization" where autonomous professionals connect across a plane and businesses are born from many angles.
