01 THE NAME

Why a stick?

The unknown held both curiosity and fear.

A place you have never been. You might get scolded, it might be dangerous. And yet, an irrepressible curiosity moves your body forward.

The "stick" in your hand gave you courage.

Once you find just the right stick, the hesitation fades. It becomes a weapon, a shield, a brush for drawing, the material for a secret hideout. The stick expands what is possible.

Now that we are grown up, we can "climb" even further.

The name Kinobo comes from "ki no bo" (stick) and "kinobori" (tree climbing) in Japanese. A tool that is casual and close at hand, yet stirs up courage and lets everyone grow upward, together.
